DeSales Nursing Students Set Another NCLEX-RN Record
DeSales nursing graduates have done it again. The Class of 2018 earned a 98.06 percent pass rate on the NCLEX-RN, the national licensure exam. This marks the highest pass rate in the nursing department’s history and also exceeds both the Pennsylvania and national averages.
Nursing students must pass the NCLEX-RN to become a registered nurse.

Last year, the Class of 2017 earned a 96.36 percent pass rate, the second highest rate in department history. Doyle-Tadduni credits the nursing full time and clinical faculty for these results.
“Teaching begins in the classroom and continues on at our clinical sites, and these results would not be as high as they are if it wasn’t for our exceptional nursing faculty. They truly care about every nursing student and take an investment in their education. It is a noteworthy moment in the nursing department's history, but what makes it all worth the time, efforts, and dedication, is the ultimate success of our students."
