Sunday, January 24

  • 8:30 am — Sunday Mass. St. Francis de Sales is the patron of the deaf.  Fr. Jim Greenfield, OSFS, University president, will celebrate mass and Fr. Ken McKenna, OSFS, former University trustee, will preach the Gospel in American Sign Language.  Premieres at 8:30 and will remain online for your convenience: at

  • 3:00 pm — University Prayer Service in Celebration of the Life of St. Francis de Sales: This live Zoom event features five members of the DeSales community to reflect on our core values that emerge from the inspiration of our patron — gentleness, humility, gratitude, hospitality, and wisdom.  Online via Zoom:

  • CANCELED: 10 am — Painting with St. Francis de Sales: University chaplain Fr. Dan Lannen, OSFS, will lead participants in painting an image to a favorite quote of our patron saint.  Supplies provided.  All talent levels welcome. Dorothy Day.
  • 12 pm — Campus Mass. Connelly Chapel.
  • 6:00 pm — Character U Keynote Speaker: Andrew Wyze Davis: The power of story as a means of healing and how this can intersect with the University’s core values.  Sponsored by the Black Student Union, Character U, and Center for Faith and Justice.  Online and limited, in-person seating at the DUC. Thursday, February 11

  • 7:30 pm — Second Annual French Wine Tasting:  Tour the region of St. Francis De Sales with tastes that have grown from the soils where he trod.  In-person, limited seating at the DUCregister on ENGAGE. Must be 21 to register.
