Virtual TV/Film Scholarship and Interview Day
As a DeSales TV/Film Department candidate, you must apply and be accepted academically and artistically. To be accepted artistically into the TV/Film department, you must interview with our TV/Film faculty during our virtual Scholarship and Interview Day.
The DeSales University TV/Film Department will be hosting a Virtual Scholarship and Interview Day for our TV/Film candidates who have already applied through the DeSales admissions process.
We will be holding virtual interviews on Saturday, January 30, 2021, starting at 10:00am EST.
What to Prepare
The DeSales TV/Film Department virtual interview will give each candidate the opportunity to meet with our Department Chair, Mike Wagner, as well as the rest of the full-time faculty members, so that they can learn more about you and your TV/Film background and experience. This will be your opportunity to showcase your artistry and speak to your passion for the cinematic art form. Also, this will allow for any questions you may have about the program.
Prior to your virtual interview, we encourage our candidates to submit a portfolio selection or example of your work as an artist. An artistic portfolio is not required, but if you have work that you would like to share with our faculty, we ask that you submit by Saturday, January 22 so that we can review your material before your interview. Please email all portfolio items to Rebecca Righi, Director of Recruitment for the Performing Arts, at firstname.lastname@example.org after you have applied to DeSales University.
*Please do not send any documents or portfolio on Google Docs.
