Mary Elizabeth Doyle-Tadduni, Ph.D., MBA, RN

Dr. Mary Elizabeth Doyle-Tadduni is an associate professor and the Division Head of Nursing. Dr. Doyle-Tadduni’s background has included critical care and medical-surgical nursing, nursing administration, and hospital administration in major university teaching hospitals in the city of Philadelphia. She has been involved with consulting work in academic detailing with the Independent Drug Information Service in Pennsylvania and has served on the faculty of the National Resource Center for Academic Detailing at both Harvard Medical School and the Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts.

Dr. Doyle-Tadduni is a BSN graduate of DeSales University. She completed her MSN with a concentration in Nursing Administration and was awarded the MBA degree with a concentration in Healthcare Administration where she was the recipient of the Healthcare Management Service Administration award at Widener University. Following her graduate work in both nursing and healthcare administration, she completed her administrative residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia with the chief executive officer and chief nursing officer of the hospital. She was awarded her Ph.D. in nursing from Widener University and presented her research findings on “Terrorism Preparedness: Perceptions of Connectivity of Emergency Nurses of the Emergency Nurses Association,” at the 10th Annual Interdisciplinary Healthcare Conference in Dublin, Ireland, and most recently at the Cleveland Clinic.

Dr. Doyle-Tadduni is a recipient of the Lehigh Valley Business Women of Influence award where she had received special recognition from United States Senator Patrick Toomey. Dr. Doyle-Tadduni has been recently selected as an American Association of Colleges of Nursing Wharton Executive Fellow.
