Students who have served or are currently serving our country through military service can take advantage of education benefits available through Veterans Affairs.

How to Apply

Step 1
Apply online via the Department of Veterans Affairs 

It takes approximately 10-12 weeks to process applications. Please wait until 60 days have passed from application submission to inquire about the status. Once the Department of Veterans Affairs has determined your eligibility, you will receive a Certificate of Eligibility in the mail.

Step 2

Apply to your academic program of choice at DeSales University while the Department of Veterans Affairs is processing your benefits paperwork. 

Step 3

If interested in receiving federal student aid, complete and submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). DeSales University's School Code: 003986.

Step 4
Once accepted to DeSales, submit a copy of your DD 214 and/or Certificate of Eligibility to:

Make arrangements for paying your bill by contacting:

Step 6
Register for courses using the login information provided by your academic program.

A private lounge for veteran students and employees

  • Study, watch TV, use computer stations, or grab a cup of coffee in this well-appointed, private space.
  • Check your benefits with the on-site CAC reader and e-benefits machine.
