DeSales Honored as a 2023-2024 College of Distinction
Colleges of Distinction is once again honoring DeSales University for its enriching undergraduate experience and commitment to student success.
The University has been named a 2023-2024 College of Distinction, a Catholic College of Distinction, and a Pennsylvania College of Distinction. DeSales has also received specialized recognition as a national leader in undergraduate nursing programs.
“The division of nursing here at DeSales University is honored by this distinction, and attributes this to the high caliber of our faculty and staff and to the many wonderful students we serve. We take great pride in the level of success our students exhibit post-graduation.”
To be recognized in the nursing category, schools are evaluated on several factors, including hands-on experiences, high mastery rates, positive student outcomes, and preparing students for the demands of the field.
DeSales was previously named a College of Distinction for the 2020-2021 and 2022-2023 academic years. Founded in 2000, Colleges of Distinction honors schools with a dedicated focus on the undergraduate experience. Schools are selected based on student engagement, teaching excellence, outcomes-based learning, and community involvement.
