DeSales University has been ranked among the 2023 U.S. News & World Report’s list of Best Online Programs, earning number 223 for Best Online Bachelor’s Programs and recognition for five Best Online Master’s Programs.

“DeSales University has been delivering high-quality, accessible online certificates and degrees for over 20 years,” says Ronald Nordone, dean of graduate education. “We continue to try to identify the best ways to connect with our online students so they have an experience that is aligned with their career goals.”

Eric Hagan, dean of online education, adds, “A big theme at DeSales University is the idea of connection. Our perspective on online education is that technology should be used to facilitate human connection, not substitute for it. DeSales University faculty develop relationships with students and our students develop relationships with each other—whether it’s online or on campus.”

The Master of Science in information systems program ranked 72-93, while the online Master of Science in nursing program ranked 85. Other recognized programs include the online Master of Education program, ranked 231, the online Master of Arts in criminal justice program, ranked 33, and the online Master of Business Administration program, ranked 169.

Designed for individuals looking to complete or further their education, this year's edition of the U.S. News & World Report Best Online Programs evaluated more than 1,800 online bachelor's and master's degree programs. U.S. News assessed schools based on a variety of objective factors, such as student engagement, faculty credentials, and services and technologies.

“Online technologies make it possible for anyone to access the transformative educational experience that DeSales is known for,” says Hagan. “That’s what we provide in our online courses—the convenience of the internet and the quality of an excellent human-scale university.”
