Free Flu Shot Clinic Now Underway

DeSales is encouraging members of the campus community to roll up their sleeves and fight the flu.
The Wellness Center is once again offering a free Flu Shot Clinic for students and employees from Wednesday, Oct. 27, through Friday, Nov. 5. The clinic is being held in the Kender/Danko meeting rooms in the Dorothy Day Student Union.
“In the spirit of Salesian Solidarity, we must all do our part to maintain a healthy living and learning environment,” says Gerard Joyce, Ph.D., executive vice president. “I am amazed at the commitment of the students and employees who continue to demonstrate care and concern for the campus community.”
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends that individuals six months and older receive a yearly influenza vaccination. Students and employees who receive a flu shot will be provided with a Flu Vaccination Record as proof of vaccination.
