Trexler Library is excited to welcome our new Instruction and Assessment Librarian, Lisa Dietz

Lisa graduated from West Chester University in 2011 with a bachelor’s in Psychology. After graduation, she worked as an administrator in the social services field specializing in adults with intellectual disabilities. In 2019, Lisa went back to school to earn her Master’s in Library and Information Science from Drexel University and graduated in spring of 2021.    

Prior to starting as a librarian at DeSales, Lisa was a Public Librarian for several years at Bucks County Free Library in Doylestown, Pennsylvania. In her new role as Instruction and Assessment Librarian, she will be partnering with faculty and other academic staff to plan and deliver course-integrated instruction in information literacy and research practices.  Lisa will also be specializing in helping students within the fields of social sciences, education, and information systems. She will be offering evening hours for research appointments Sunday through Thursday from 12:30pm to 7:00pm. 

Regarding her new position, Lisa says, “I’m honored to be a part of the DeSales community and the Trexler Library team.”
