Workshops, Massages, & More: The Sixth Annual Faculty and Staff Wellness Fair

by Janelle Hill Feb 27, 2020

The Wellness Task Force is putting health in the forefront once again with the sixth annual Faculty and Staff Wellness Fair.

The daylong event featured old favorites like shiatsu massages, exercise classes, and raffle prizes. There were also new offerings this year, including workshops on protecting your digital devices and a Farm Share CSA program with Willow Haven Farm in New Tripoli.

The Wellness Task Force is comprised of 16 staff and faculty members whose goal is to promote healthy living both on and off campus.

“The Wellness Fair is important because it’s an opportunity to take an entire day to show our employees that DSU cares about their health,” says Lisa Lightcap, human resources generalist and a member of the task force. “The goal is to raise awareness about health issues and provide our employees with resources to take charge of their health. We know our employees have busy lifestyles and we try to educate and provide as many resources as possible in one day.”
