DeSales Got Talent (DGT) raised the bar yet again with a new level of talent ranging from displays of magic to the surprising merger of cello and accordion players.

As an annual student favorite, DGT hosts the diverse talents of DeSales students dispersed with various games and a lottery. This year, the event judges were joined by none other than Father James Greenfield, OSFS, University president.

By the end of the night, students voted for a winner who was awarded the $500 grand prize. Matt O’Neill and Mark Jannuzzi, who performed “Piano Man,” claimed first place; Zachary Gutherman came in second with his magic act; and Kyra Robinson and Hayley Martin rounded out the top three with their dance performance.

Anyone can participate in DGT and all talents are welcome, but slots fill quickly, so if you missed out on sharing your talent this year, mark your calendar for next year!
