Update on Bethlehem and Lansdale Campuses

2019-LansdaleCampus

DeSales University’s success in teaching adult learners in both the ACCESS and MBA programs continues to grow, and this growth is evident by the increased demand for online classes. Since 2013, enrollment in online classes in the ACCESS program grew by 22%, while online MBA registrations grew by 25% in the same time period. Online and hybrid classes, as well as our new Flex class format, have all reduced the need for face-to-face, in-classroom, learning.

Because of this changing demand, effective August 30, 2019, and pending approval of the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE), DeSales University ACCESS and MBA classes previously scheduled for the Fall 2019 session at the Bethlehem Area Campus located at 3001 Emrick Blvd in Bethlehem, Pa., and the Lansdale Campus located at 815 Sumneytown Pike, will be moved to the Center Valley main campus or will be held online.

The same advisors in ACCESS and MBA programs will continue to support students as they move through their respective programs. Students should reach out to their advisors to discuss and finalize their class schedule for Fall 2019 (and beyond).

Impacted faculty should continue to work with either the ACCESS or MBA program staff to evaluate alternative teaching assignments and/or online training.

Opened in 1988, the Bethlehem area campus has served ACCESS and MBA students well. The Lansdale campus helped DeSales establish a presence in Montgomery County for the last 18 years.  We greatly appreciate student, faculty, and staff patience as we work through this change together.  Please feel free to contact the following for any questions that you may have:
