Students: COVID-19 Testing Results

by Gerard J. Joyce Ph.D. Executive Vice President COVID-19 Liaison Feb 1, 2021

February 1, 2021

Welcome back for the spring 2021 semester.  Thank you to the students who participated in the COVID-19 mandatory testing over the past three days.  More than 1200 students were tested.

Some students are having difficulty accessing test results through the St. Luke’s MyChart Portal.  We are working with St. Luke’s to correct the issue.  All COVID-19 tests conducted on Friday, January 29th and Saturday January 30th are complete.  If you have not been contacted by a member of the DeSales University COVID-19 Team, you have tested negative.  Tests conducted on Sunday January 31st will be completed by 5:00pm today.  If you do not hear from a member of the DeSales University COVID -19 team by that time, you have tested negative.

If you were unable to return to campus before 3:00pm on Sunday January 31st, please contact Alex Knop, COVID-19 Nurse, at alexander.knop@desales.edu.  Alex will work with you to arrange the mandatory entry testing upon your arrival to campus.

Thank you again for your continued cooperation.

Sincerely,

Gerard J. Joyce Ph.D.
Executive Vice President
COVID-19 Liaison
