Susan Givens-Skeaton, Ph.D.

Dr. Susan Givens-Skeaton has more than 20 years educational and work experience in human resource management and organizational behavior. As a management consultant, she has extensive management experience through projects with leaders in for-profit, nonprofit, and government organizations.
Givens-Skeaton received a doctorate in organizational studies from the University at Albany, State University of New York, a master's in industrial/organizational psychology from St. Mary's University, and a bachelor's from Creighton University.
Her research has been published in journals that attract an audience of human resource, training and development, and organizational development professionals. She received several research grants and awards, including the Swanson Award for Best Human Resource Development Quarterly Article. Her teaching excellence was recognized when she received the Professor of the Year, Haub School of Business Award while at St. Joseph's University.
In Fall 2013, Givens-Skeaton will teach Principles of Management and Organizational Behavior to undergraduates and Organizational Analysis & Design to MBA students.
She lives in Philadelphia and enjoys camping, hiking, and bicycling with her husband and their two children.
