Dr. Susan Givens-Skeaton has more than 25 years educational and work experience in human resource management and organizational behavior. As a management consultant, she has extensive management experience through projects with leaders in for-profit, nonprofit, and government organizations.

In the Division of Business Dr. Givens-Skeaton areas of teaching include management, organizational behavior, human resource management, and workforce diversity.

Givens-Skeaton received a doctorate in organizational studies from the University at Albany, State University of New York, a master's in industrial/organizational psychology from St. Mary's University, and a bachelor's from Creighton University.

Her research has been published in journals that attract an audience of human resource, training and development, and organizational development professionals. She received several research grants and awards, including the Swanson Award for Best Human Resource Development Quarterly Article. Her teaching excellence was recognized when she received the Professor of the Year, Haub School of Business Award while at St. Joseph's University.

She lives in Philadelphia and enjoys camping, hiking, and bicycling with her husband and their two children.
