Dr. Sedat Cevikparmak earned his Ph.D. in Logistics Systems at the University of North Texas in 2020. His research interests include effects of risk propensities on contracts, performance-based contracts, transaction cost economics theory and risk neutrality assumption.

Dr. Cevikparmak is an assistant professor and chair of the supply chain management major in the Division of Business at DeSales.

He received his BS in Foreign Area Studies (Middle East) in 1997 at the United States Military Academy, at West Point, NY; his MS in National Security Affairs (Middle East), in 2002, at Naval Post-Graduate School, Monterey, CA.

Dr. Cevikparmak is happily married to his wife, Suna, and they have two children, Nurettin Burak and Elif Ece.
