Dr. Michael Beardsley completed his BS in Sports Medicine from Canisius College (Buffalo, NY) obtaining certification as an athletic trainer (ATC).  He earned his MS in Mechanical Engineering from the State University of New York at Buffalo where he focused on biomechanics.  Dr. Beardsley received his PhD in Exercise Science from the State University of New York at Buffalo where he specialized in biomechanics.  Dr. Beardsley previously worked as a certified athletic trainer at Houghton College and also as a student-intern with the Buffalo Bills.

Dr. Beardsley is interested in understanding how the body functions mechanically, how & why injuries occur, and how to utilize the previous two for prevention and care of injuries.  Some course taught include biomechanics, motor learning and prevention and care of athletic injuries.  Within these courses, emphasis is placed on application and utilization in real-life.

Dr. Beardsley and his wife, Audra, have four children.  He is active within his church as an usher, Sunday school teacher, and youth group volunteer.  During his free-time, Dr. Beardsley enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, playing sports, and following the Buffalo Bills.
