Lisa Gottlieb

Adjunct Instructor of Jazz Dance

Lisa Gottlieb has been dancing and teaching for over thirty-five years. She received her Bachelor of the Arts Degree in Dance Teaching from the State University of New York. Lisa is a member of DeSales University's Dance Faculty. At the age of sixteen, Lisa was one of six dancers to be hired by Mickey Rooney's City Line Dinner Theatre. Lisa continued performing professionally and training throughout her high school years. Lisa continued her dance training in New York City. While in New York City, Lisa studied and trained at Broadway Dance Center. There, she was the assistant teacher for Judy Bassing and the demonstrator for Frank Hatchett. Lisa was the Lead Dancer for several dance companies, which included "Unique Dance Company", "Zodiaque Dance Company", and "Zang and Company". Lisa was named Jr. Miss Dance of Pennsylvania and Jr. Miss Dance of New York by Dance Masters of America. Lisa has taught and choreographed dance at over twelve dance studios across the Tri-State area over the years. She has been trained in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Modern, Lyrical, and Gymnastics. Lisa has also been a judge for many cheerleading and dance competitions. Lisa continues to teach master classes across the Tri-State area. Some of her many competition accomplishments include, Top Soloist Awards in 2014, Starquest Industry Dance Award for Highest Jazz Routine 2014, Top Line/Production Award 2014, Starquest Fusion Award 2015, Jump Best in Studio Award 2016, Groove Best Tap and Musical Theatre Routine of Entire Competition 2016, Bravo Excellence Performance Award 2016, Starquest Apogee Award 2017, Bravo Choreography Award, Standing Ovation Award, and Entertainment Award 2017. "Miss Beyond The Star" Top Soloist 2018. Elite Dance Challenge 1st Place Over-all Routines 2018, Turn it Up Top Choreography and Staging Award 2018, Groove Industry Award for Outstanding Top Jazz Routine 2019, Turn It Up Industry Award for Outstanding Top Jazz Routine 2019, Beyond The Stars Outstanding Top Jazz Routine, Ultimate Technique Award, and Ultimate Emotional Execution Award 2019. Lisa resides in Harleysville, Pennsylvania with her husband, Keith.
