Dr. Lara Goudsouzian is an assistant professor in the natural science department of DeSales University. Dr. G completed her undergraduate education at the University of California at Berkeley, and was awarded her Ph.D. from the Department of Molecular Biology at Princeton University. She teaches Cell and Molecular Biology and Genetics courses at DeSales. Her research interests center around the role of telomeres and chromosomal stability in the model organism Saccharomyces cerevisiae, also known as baker's yeast. While a happy transplant to the Lehigh Valley, Dr. G often travels in the U.S. and abroad with her family.
