Karen Ruggles, M.S., M.F.A.
Associate Professor of Computer Science, Varsity Esports Program Director
Karen Ruggles is an associate professor of computer science at DeSales University. Professor Ruggles earned a MFA from Savannah College of Art and Design with a thesis in Virtual Reality Storytelling, a MS from DePaul University studying 3D Animation, and a BA degree from Lafayette College, where she double majored in English and studio art.
Ms. Ruggles' teaching and research interests include virtual production, animation, digital cinema, virtual reality (VR), and 3D modeling and printing.
She currently resides in Easton with her husband, Matt, and their daughters Sydney and Claire.
