Graduate Assistant: Softball

DeSales University is an NCAA Division III member.  The Graduate Assistant Women’s Softball Coach will be responsible for assisting the head coach in practice, planning, game preparation, recruiting responsibilities and other duties as assigned. This appointment is renewable for up to two years, and includes tuition remission for up to 18 credits per academic year (for graduate courses), a stipend, on-campus housing (if available), and an on-campus mail plan while undergraduate classes are in session. This appointment starts August 1st, 2021.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and collegiate playing experience required
  • Acceptance to and continued enrollment in a DeSales University graduate program required
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required
  • Goal Keeping experience is preferred, but not required
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, & leadership skills preferred
  • Sensitive to issues of ethnicity, disability and diversity
  • Dedicated to the mission of a small, Catholic, liberal arts institution
