Ryan Leadership Institute
A unique, two-year student program that fosters personal growth and leadership training in the context of Salesian Catholic spirituality.
Founded by Frank & Jane Ryan, this institute emerged in collaboration with the Catholic Leadership Institute in Philadelphia. Membership is by invitation only and is ordinarily limited to 15 students each year.

Ryan Leadership Institute students participate in many events throughout the course of the program. In their first year of RNI, DeSales juniors take part in a weekend-long Leaders’ Experiential Adventure Program (LEAP) retreat, where they learn to overcome their fears and commit to a "challenge by choice" mindset.
