Fran Fasching is a Lehigh Valley native who started her nursing career in Emergency Medical Services as a teenager. While serving communities in EMS, she worked in Forensic Pathology and attended nursing school. A graduate of St. Lukes’s School of Nursing and Cedar Crest College, Fran worked as an emergency department nurse, flight nurse, and prehospital registered nurse before attending DeSales University to complete an MSN-FNP. As a nurse practitioner, Fran worked in many settings: emergency department, family practice, urgent care, geriatric care settings, and hospice, maintaining specialty certifications and continuing to expand nurse practitioner experiences. She continues clinical practice in the emergency department. Fran is a medical writer and owner of Nurse Practitioner Professional Medical Writing - researching and writing continuing education for nurses and physicians, providing medical and nursing conference coverage, writing medical news articles, and mentoring future nurse writers.
