Evan Shimkanon
Instructor of Computer Science
Evan Shimkanon is an instructor of computer science at DeSales University. Professor Shimkanon earned a B.S. and M.S. in Computer Science from Kutztown University with specializations in data mining and predictive analytics, operating systems, and network security and infrastructure.
Mr. Shimkanon's teaching and research interests include cybersecurity, programming languages and automata, and game development. He is passionate about helping students of any level become proficient software developers.
He currently lives in Kutztown, PA, and is a Lehigh Valley native.
