MSIS Program to Host IT Forum on Healthcare Technology Careers

On Thursday, June 11, 2015, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., DeSales University will host its first Information Technology Forum. The topic will be "Focus on Healthcare Technology Careers" and will be held in the Gambet Center Auditorium. 

The event, sponsored by the DeSales Master of Science in Information Systems (MSIS) graduate program, is free and open to the public

Professionals from Lehigh Valley Health Network and St. Luke's Health Network will speak on technology careers in the healthcare industry today. Learn about these jobs and how to access these opportunities in your career. A general question and answer session will follow the presentations and the event will close with a networking reception. Light refreshments will be served.

  • Patrick Kincaid, MBA - Kincaid is a Senior IT Operations/Business Process Specialist for Populytics in Allentown, Pa. Presentation topic: Populytics.
  • Mark Rebimbas, MSIS - Rebimbas is an Application Coordinator for the EpicCare Ambulatory Team at Lehigh Valley Health Network. Presentation topic: Past, Present, and Future of EHR implementation across the United States.
