TV/Film Interview and Scholarship Day

As a DeSales TV/Film Department candidate, you must apply and be accepted academically and artistically. To be accepted artistically into the TV/Film department, you must interview with our TV/Film faculty during our annual Interview and Scholarship Day hosted on the DeSales University campus.

Academic acceptance into the university does not guarantee your artistic acceptance into the TV/Film program.

The DeSales University TV/Film Department will be hosting an Interview and Scholarship Day for our TV/Film candidates who have already applied through the DeSales admissions process. Please sign up for your interview after starting an application to DeSales.

We will be holding interviews on Saturday, January 27, 2024, from 9:00am - 2:00pm EST.

What to Prepare

The DeSales TV/Film Department Interview will give each candidate the opportunity to meet with our Department Chair, Mike Wagner, as well as the rest of the full-time faculty members, so that they can learn more about you and your TV/Film background and experience. This will be your opportunity to showcase your artistry and speak to your passion for the cinematic art form. Also, this will allow for any questions you may have about the program. Prior to your interview, we encourage our candidates to submit a portfolio selection or example of your work as an artist. An artistic portfolio is not required, but if you have work that you would like to share with our faculty, we ask that you submit by Saturday, January 21st so that we can review your material before your interview. Also, please bring a resume with you when you check-in.
