What's Campus Life Like?

Who will help me when I need it?

The Health Center

The Health Center at DSU provides the highest quality nursing and medical care and resources to learn about healthy lifestyles and disease prevention. It is always a confidential, caring, and supportive place to get expert advice and care through the Christian humanist philosophy of enhancing the well being of the whole person.

DeSales EMS is a student-run EMT organization on the DeSales University campus. The organization responds to all campus medical emergencies 24 hours a day, 7 days a week during the normal academic school year.

Counseling Center

Classes, work, life — college isn't always easy and can sometimes be overwhelming. If you find yourself in times of confusion, worry, or concern, the DeSales Counseling Center offers highly qualified and trained individuals to help you sort through the rough stuff. Counseling services are offered at no cost to any full time student.

PACE - Peers Advising Counseling Educating

PACE is a small group of students who provide peer education programs that focus on alcohol, tobacco, violence, sexual health and safety, and justice issues. PACE mentors are specially trained and certified through BACCHUS and GAMMA Peer Education Network, an international association of college and university-based peer education programs.

Academic Resource Center

If the time comes when you need academic help, the Academic Resource Center (ARC) is on duty. The ARC offers assistance in reading comprehension, study skills, time management and writing techniques. Struggling with a certain subject? They can help find a tutor. Be sure to visit the Academic Resource Center early in your college career.
