Prerequisites: Required Courses for Admission
  • Human Anatomy & Physiology I (3 credits) / Note: Anatomy & Physiology must have been taken within five years of applying to the program; exceptions may be considered for applicants who have been active in the medical field since taking the course. Human Anatomy may also be taken as a separate course from Human Physiology, in which case 3 credits of each course would be required for admission.

  • Human Anatomy & Physiology II (3 credits) / Note: Anatomy & Physiology must have been taken within five years of applying to the program; exceptions may be considered for applicants who have been active in the medical field since taking the course. Human Anatomy may also be taken as a separate course from Human Physiology, in which case 3 credits of each course would be required for admission.

  • English Composition I (3 credits) / Note: In some cases, a writing intensive course taken outside of an English department may be accepted in place of English Composition I or II.

  • English Composition II (3 credits) / Note: In some cases, a writing intensive course taken outside of an English department may be accepted in place of English Composition I or II.

  • General Biology (3 credits)

  • General (Inorganic) Chemistry (3 credits)

  • Microbiology (3 credits) / Note: Microbiology must have been taken within five years of applying to the program; exceptions may be considered for applicants who have been active in the medical field since taking the course.  

  • Organic Chemistry (3 credits)

  • Psychology (3 credits)

  • Statistics (3 credits)
