The Philosophy-Theology department sponsors a national essay contest to recognize academic excellence that embraces the distinctiveness of Catholic thought.
Each year a distinctive THEME is selected by the faculty.
ELIGIBILITY is open to all high school students in their Sophomore, Junior, or Senior year of studies.
Scholarship AWARDS are granted to the top three writers in the amounts of $2,500 (first place), $1,500 (second place), and $1,000 (third place).
After the theme is announced, DESCRIPTION and ENTRY forms will be provided online.
After the scholarship awards are chosen, the winning entries will be published on this site.
