Are you a DeSales MSN Graduate?

DeSales now offers one FREE 3-credit, 800-level Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) course to eligible* DeSales University Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) Program graduates and DSU Post-MSN Certificate (PMC) completers.

Did you know? The American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) recommends that all Advanced Practice Nurses earn their DNP starting in 2015.

Doctorally-prepared Advanced Practice Nurses from the DeSales DNP Program will be prepared with the competencies for advanced practice nurses to affect health outcomes in the complex and dynamic health care delivery system.

Junior Nursing Student Paige Ackerman Receives LeCoMASE Nursing Scholarship

Martha Maffeo, president of the Lehigh County Medical Auxiliary Scholarship and Education Fund (LeCoMASE) and Barbara Peters, chair of the nursing scholarship program at LeCoMASE, presented to junior nursing student Paige Ackerman the 2016-17 LeCoMASE Nursing Scholarship. The scholarship benefits undergraduate nursing students in good academic standing from DeSales University entering their senior year.

The scholarship is distributed annually from an endowment established by LeCoMASE to benefit full-time nursing students in the Lehigh Valley.

Ackerman recently accepted a job as a Student Nursing Associate at Lehigh Valley Hospital, and plans to concentrate in pediatric nursing.
