• Communication

  Teach primarily in public relations, with secondary research and teaching interests in any of the following: organizational communication, gender communication, or research methods.

  Middle level/secondary education, mathematics and/or science. Teach undergraduate and graduate education courses.  Doctorate strongly preferred (ABD considered).

• Coordinator, Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Program

  Applicants must have successful nursing teaching and administrative experience and a doctorate in nursing or a related field. Must possess or be eligible for Pennsylvania nursing licensure. This tenure-track faculty appointment begins January 1 or June 1, 2012.

• Management

  Teach undergraduate and evening MBA courses in management, entrepreneurship, organizational behavior, or human resource management. Doctorate in management or related field preferred; industry experience highly desirable.

• M.Ed. Program Director

  Candidates must hold a Ph.D. or Ed.D. in education with successful administrative and teaching experience in K-12 schools and on the college or university level. Preference will be given to applicants with significant experience in program development, marketing of education programs, leadership in teacher education, distance and blended educational course-delivery methods, experience with state and national governmental regulations and initiatives, program assessment, and educational technology. Must be qualified to teach courses in an education area currently offered at DeSales University. This 12-month, tenure-track appointment begins on or around May 1, 2012.

• Marketing

  Teach undergraduate and evening MBA courses in marketing such as consumer behavior, sales management, and business marketing.  Ph.D. preferred; industry experience highly desirable.

• Nursing

  Seek doctorally-prepared faculty (ABDs considered) to teach in growing BSN and MSN NLNAC-accredited programs. Those qualified to teach in a new DNP program are especially desired. Graduate nursing preparation and advanced clinical expertise in medical, surgical, gerontology, women’s health, and critical care preferred. Two tenure-track positions available starting Spring or Fall 2012. Must possess or be eligible for Pennsylvania licensure.

• Computer Science

  Teach undergraduate computer science courses in programming, web development, 3D modeling, animation and related topics. The position requires a doctorate (or ABD).
