DeSales University invites applications for two full-time faculty positions in our entry-level Doctor of Physical Therapy Program (DPT) to be filled by mutual agreement for fall 2013/spring 2014. The ideal candidates for these positions will have the opportunity to influence the development of the foundational and clinical science curricula in the musculoskeletal courses of this newly developing program. Desired areas of teaching expertise include gross anatomy with cadaver dissection, biomechanics, exercise science, and differential diagnosis and intervention in orthopedic physical therapy. Individuals with a proven record of research and clinical practice experience will also participate in the design of our dedicated research lab including selection of equipment to expand professional lines of scholarly inquiry. Over the next 18 months, the program will also seek candidates with experience in geriatrics, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, wound care, ethics, and wellness/prevention to round out our plans for a team of 8 faculty colleagues to coordinate and direct our contemporary, integrated curriculum.
