Jessica Trementozzi

Biography

Jessica Trementozzi is a scenic designer, educator, and theatre artist with professional experience spanning scenic design, production, and arts education. She holds an MFA in Scenic Design from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts and a BA in Theatrical Design from Anderson University. Upon graduation, she had the honor of being a Kenan Fellow at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts where she worked with theaters including The Public Theater, Woolly Mammoth Theater Company, Baltimore Center Stage, Georgetown University and more. Her design work encompasses scenic design, scenic painting, and props design with experience working in both academic and professional theatre environments.

As an educator, Jessica is passionate about helping students develop both the creative and practical skills needed to enter the theatre profession, with an emphasis on collaboration, communication, problem-solving, and hands-on learning. In addition to her work in scenic design, she has extensive experience teaching and directing theatre for students of a wide range of ages and has worked as a theatrical educator, director, choreographer, and production artist. Her professional interests include scenic design, theatre education, interdisciplinary collaboration, and preparing emerging theatre artists for successful careers in the performing arts.
