New Dual Enrollment Partnership Agreement With Little Flower High School
CENTER VALLEY, Pa. — DeSales University is partnering with Little Flower High School for Girls in Philadelphia. This new program lets students earn college credits while they are still in high school.
The dual enrollment program gives Little Flower students more class options and helps them move smoothly into college. Students who qualify will also receive guaranteed admission to DeSales programs in early childhood education, special education, secondary education, and a combined education track.
“This partnership shows our promise to help prepare future leaders in education,” said Erin McLaughlin, Ph.D., dean of the College of Arts, Education, and Humanities at DeSales. “Little Flower students will get an early start on college and learn what it’s like to be part of a university community.”
DeSales will also offer a renewable scholarship to Little Flower graduates who join DeSales full-time after completing the program. These scholarships range from $22,000 to $30,000 per year. This helps make a Catholic education more affordable.
The partnership also helps DeSales strengthen its connection to the Philadelphia area. It encourages high school students to explore the DeSales community and think about attending the university in the future.
Little Flower families will gain from this program, as students can earn credits that may shorten their time in college and lower costs.
“At Little Flower, we want every student to have a clear path to success,” said Kristie Dugan, Little Flower President. “This program and the scholarship opportunity will open more doors and help our students build strong, bright futures.”
The program will be announced on August 28, 2025, at Little Flower High School for Girls in Philadelphia.
