DeSales Among U.S. News & World Report’s Best National Universities

We’re proud to announce that DeSales University is moving up the list of best national universities.

DeSales ranks #280 on the 2024 U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges list, an increase over its #285 ranking in 2023.

Other 2024 rankings for the University include:

• Ranked as a top performer in social mobility among national universities.
• Ranked for undergraduate nursing programs.

The 2024 U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges list looks at up to 17 measures of academic quality. The rankings focus on student outcomes, such as graduation and retention rates. These numbers show how well a school supports student success.

Social mobility rankings look at how well a school enrolls and graduates large numbers of disadvantaged students who receive Pell Grants. In Pennsylvania, DeSales is tied with Gannon University for top performance in this category.

DeSales shares its 280th ranking with several schools across the country, including Bellarmine University, Bowling Green State University, Immaculata University, Hampton University, and others.
