Project Lead the Way

DeSales University is proud to partner with Project Lead the Way (PLTW).  We offer several exclusive benefits to PLTW participants including scholarship opportunities and course credit.

Scholarships

Students completing at least 2 courses in a Project Lead the Way high school program (Biomedical Science, Computer Science, or Engineering) and are enrolling into one of our approved majors (BA/BS in Biology, BS in Neuroscience, and BS in Computer Science) are eligible to apply for a PLTW scholarship.  Each year a total of six $3000 PLTW scholarships will be awarded.

Scholarship application opens August 1, 2025.

Course Credit

Students enrolled in several majors offered through the College of Sciences can apply to receive up to 6 credit hours toward their degree for their PLTW courses.  Eligible programs include BA/BS in Biology, BS in Neuroscience, and BS in Computer Science.
