The Master of Science in nursing program is moving up in U.S. News & World Report’s 2023 rankings.

The MSN program is ranked number 123 (tie) in Best Nursing Schools: Master’s — making it the highest ranked Lehigh Valley program on that list and up from number 152 in the 2022 rankings. The doctor of nursing practice program is also mentioned in the 2023 Best Nursing Schools: Doctor of Nursing Practice category.

“We are thrilled to be acknowledged in the rankings of the Best Nursing Schools: Master’s programs by U.S. News & World Report,” says Carol Gullo Mest, Ph.D., chair of graduate nursing programs. “Rankings are based on many factors, including not only the quality of accepted students but also the outcomes of the graduates. Our program rigor, exceptional faculty, consistent clinical placements, inclusion of simulation, and low attrition rate contribute to these excellent outcomes, as well as our program acknowledgement.”

Earlier this year, the MSN program also ranked on U.S. News & World Report’s 2022 list of best online programs, along with the Master of Business Administration, Master of Arts in criminal justice, and Master of Science in information systems programs.
