DeSales is once again being recognized for its commitment to veterans.

The University has earned a coveted spot on the 2021 Military Times Best for Vets: Colleges rankings—an important resource for service members and veterans.

DeSales ranked 9th in Mid-Atlantic, 20th in private not-for-profit, 112th in general education, and 117th overall.

“My colleague, Wendy Badman, and I are committed to serving our student veterans and active military students as they work to achieve their educational goals,” says Joann Haws, director of veterans and military services. “We are most appreciative of the University's demonstrated support of our office and these students.”

Military Times Best for Vets: Colleges is the largest and most comprehensive rankings of schools for military service members and veterans. Each year, its survey is sent to colleges and universities across the nation.

DeSales was previously named a 2020-2021 Military Friendly® School. In 2019, it became one of just 30 schools statewide to be named to the Pennsylvania National Guard Associations’ (PNGAS) inaugural list of Guard Friendly Schools.
