Student Government Association Goes Green for Father Greenfield Day

Being stuck at home didn’t stop DeSales students from celebrating Father Greenfield Day 2020.
The Student Government Association (SGA) took to Instagram to share tips and tricks on how to be sustainable, as well as fun DIY crafts. One video showed students how to turn used water bottles into plant pots while another gave tips for growing potatoes.
Father James Greenfield, president of DeSales, posted his own special video message to students reminding them that we’re all citizens on this planet and encouraging them to take small steps—like choosing reusable water bottles over plastic ones—to help the environment.
