Chelsea Budde Receives LeCoMASE Nursing Scholarship

Junior nursing student Chelsea Budde has more time to hit the books, thanks to the Lehigh County Medical Auxiliary Scholarship and Education Fund (LeCoMASE).
Budde received LeCoMASE's $1,000 nursing scholarship, which is awarded to a third-year nursing student who lives in Lehigh County and is in good academic standing.
“Being a full-time student and working part time, it’s helping me so much,” she says. “It really takes a weight off my shoulders and gives me more time for my studies.”
LeCoMASE was established in 1968 to provide financial assistance to medical students from Lehigh County. In 2013, it set up a nursing scholarship award at DeSales.
