Accelerated Nursing Students Help Children in Need
The newest group of students in the accelerated nursing program is giving back on day one.
The students ended orientation by making fleece blankets to donate to Project Linus, a non-profit organization that helps children who are ill, traumatized, or in need.
“It’s nice to get off on the right foot,” says Chase Burlingame ’19. “To get your name out in the community and let them know that even before we’re registered nurses, we’re here to help.”
