Ethics Breakfast: The Ethical Dilemma in Decision Making and its Impact on Compliance Officers

The Forum for Ethics in the Workplace will host an ethics breakfast at 7:30 am on Thursday, December 6, 2018 in the DeSales University Center.

This event, “Someone Will Win. Someone Will Lose: The Ethical Dilemma in Decision Making” and will look at the impact on compliance officers. This event will feature guest speaker Sharon Post, vice president of corporate compliance at B. Braun Medical Inc. Registration is required for this event and can be done online at www.ethicsforum.org

Prior to her position at B. Braun, Post was the Compliance Counsel at General Electric; Manager of General Law at MEDRAD, Inc.; and Associate General Counsel at Cognis, Inc. Post received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and French at the University of Akron and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Akron School of Law.

Breakfast attendees will have an opportunity to interact with the presenter and engage with others on the topic. Participants will enjoy a buffet breakfast and table discussions based on the keynote address. Registration and breakfast is $25 per person or $175 for a table of 8. 

The Forum for Ethics in the Workplace is a partnership institution of the Salesian Center for Faith and Culture at DeSales University. By its collaboration with the Forum, the Salesian Center is able to extend its mission of social engagement into the corporate world and is able to capitalize on the working relationships that the Forum has already established in the business community. The Salesian Center supports intellectual activity in research studies, dialogue events including public forums, lectures and partnership programs.
