The physician assistant Class of 2019 joined forces with PA programs around the region to raise money for a great cause.

The class raised $3,053 as part of the 2018 Physician Assistant Olympics, which brings together PA programs in the greater Philadelphia area to raise money and awareness of a community-based organization.

This year's recipient was the Miracle League of Northampton Township, a non-profit organization that provides a safe and enjoyable team sport experience for kids and young adults with mental disabilities regardless of their experience level or ability.

Overall, the campaign raised $24,500. PA students Morgan Decker, Kaitlyn Kellar, and Kaitlyn Troyan, along with faculty advisor Jane Arenas, represented DeSales.

PA students, faculty, alumni, and guests representing Arcadia University, Drexel University, Jefferson Center City, Jefferson East Falls/New Jersey, Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, and Salus University also took part in the event.
