DeSales Ranks Among U.S. News & World Report's Best National Universities
DeSales University has once again ranked among the best national universities.
DeSales ranks #296 on the 2025 U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges list. The University’s other 2025 rankings include:
- among top performers on social mobility for national universities.
- among best Bachelor of Science in Nursing programs.
Now in its 40th year, the U.S. News & World Report rankings evaluate nearly 1,500 national colleges and universities on up to 17 measures of academic quality. They place an emphasis on social mobility and outcomes for graduating college students.
To qualify as a national university, schools must offer a range of undergraduate majors, plus master's and doctoral programs, and emphasize faculty research or award professional practice doctorates.
DeSales shares its #296 ranking with the following schools:
- Abilene Christian University (Texas).
- Augusta University (Georgia).
- Boise State University (Idaho).
- Florida Gulf Coast University (Florida).
- Gwynedd Mercy University (Pennsylvania).
- Harding University (Arizona).
- Louisiana Tech University (Louisiana).
- Montana State University (Montana).
- Oklahoma City University (Oklahoma).
- Old Dominion University (Virginia).
- Saint Mary's University of Minnesota (Minnesota).
- The Master's University and Seminary (California).
- The University of Toledo (Ohio).
