Join the Highmark 5K Virtual Walk to Support the DeSales Free Clinic
The student board of the DeSales Free Clinic is hosting a virtual 5K to raise money for the student-run, student-funded clinic.
The Highmark 5K Virtual Walk is being held from May 20-27. Participants can register here and walk on their own time. They’re also encouraged to send a photo or selfie to desalesfcstudentboard@gmail.com. Photos will be used in a video that will be shared on social media.
Participants who register and donate at least $15 under “register as an individual” or “join a team” will receive a T-shirt, which will be distributed in July.
“We are thanking God as you joyfully join our virtual walk and generously give as able,” says Suzanne Cressman, MSPAS, PA-C, assistant professor and director of the DeSales Free Clinic. “Please know that our participation together in helping others goes far beyond what we imagine!”
Located inside the Allentown Rescue Mission, the DeSales Free Clinic allows physician assistant students to deliver competent and compassionate medical care to one of the area's most vulnerable populations.
