5 Reasons to Transfer to DeSales University

The Power of a DeSales Degree

"The beginning of good things is good; the progress, better; the end, best."
Just because you didn't start your college journey as a DeSales Bulldog doesn't mean you're any less one of the pack. Our transfer orientation mentor programs will help make DeSales your home away from home. And after graduation you'll be part of a robust alumni network.

Be Yourself — Not a Number

"Do not desire to be what you are; desire to be very well what you are."
At DeSales, you’ll become a valued member of a community that truly knows you and cares about your success. It's not a place where you can remain anonymous — rather, DeSales is a place where we'll encourage and prepare you to fulfill your own calling.

Private Education, Affordable Price

"Charity and devotion are no more different from one another than flame from fire."
With a competitive tuition rate, several transfer scholarship opportunities, and generous financial aid packages — the vast majority of our students receive some form of aid — DeSales strives to make attending a private university financially feasible.

Career Support from Day One

"To advance well we must apply ourselves to make good way in the road nearest to us, and do the first day's journey."
DeSales has a wide variety of internship experiences available, as well as career guidance, mock interviews, and resume support. DSU’s career services will help you achieve your individual career goals. Nearly 80% of the Class of 2019 reported successful outcomes at graduation, i.e., being employed, in graduate school or preparing for it, volunteering or engaged in another activity of choice.

Experiences Beyond the Classroom

"From time to time one must recreate and relax in mind and body."
Outside of the classroom, you can participate in a plethora of clubs and organizations, varsity and club sports, and much more. Student life is rich with activities, outreach programs, and when travel allows, all kinds of opportunities to travel and study abroad. Nearly 90% of graduates rate their experience at DeSales as Excellent or Good.
Quotes are from the wisdom of St. Francis de Sales, our patron saint.
RossSevari2020Quote - Homeland Security
...I was able to set foot on campus as a first semester junior with no problems. Additionally, my academic achievements at NCC allowed me to gain scholarships at DeSales, effectively cutting my tuition by over half. These factors, coupled with the incredible staff, campus, and values at DeSales made my decision to transfer beyond easy.
