Wayne C. Stuart, MD is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon. He received his undergraduate degree at Davidson College in Davidson, N.C., attended medical school at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, and finished his residency in orthopaedic surgery at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C.  

He served 11 years active duty in the U.S. Army and was in Saudi Arabia and Iraq during Desert Storm with the 5th MASH. In addition to orthopaedics, he has an interest in wound care and is past chair of the American College of Clinical Wound Specialists. After leaving the Army in 1994, he had a general orthopaedics practice in Quakertown, PA. He started at DeSales in 2006 as teaching faculty, and became program director in September 2011.  

He also serves as the medical director of the DeSales Free Clinic. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
