Wayne C. Stuart, MD
Dr. Wayne Stuart received his BS from Davidson College, Davidson NC, and his MD from the Medical University of South Carolina, Charleston SC. He is board certified in Orthopaedic Surgery, completing his residency at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, in Washington, DC, in 1990.
Dr. Stuart served 11 years active duty in the US Army and participated in Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm in the Persian Gulf with the 5th MASH. He left the Army and moved to the Lehigh Valley in 1994, having a practice in Orthopaedic Surgery with St. Luke’s Quakertown Hospital. He left orthopaedic practice when he became Director of the PA Program in 2011. He also serves as Medical Director of the DeSales Free Clinic. In addition to orthopaedics, he has an interest in wound care and is past chair of the American College of Clinical Wound Specialists. Dr. Stuart has passed the baton of program director on to Kathy Ehrhardt and is due to retire August 2022.
