Sara E.N. Hayik, Ph.D.
Assistant Professor
Dr. Sara Hayik teaches undergraduate courses in Physical, Inorganic, and General Chemistry as well as Physics Laboratory at DeSales University. She received her BS in chemistry from Millersville University of Pennsylvania and her Ph.D. in inorganic chemistry from the University of Pennsylvania in 2011. Her research interests lie in inorganic complex synthesis, living radical polymerization, nanoparticle synthesis, and undergraduate lab development.
She and her husband, Seth, enjoy spending time relaxing at home with their three cats. She is an avid gardener and enjoys spending the rest of her free time doing various crafts, reading, and spending time with her family in Berks County.
