Visiting Instructor of Computer Science
Ms. Jici Huang is a visiting Computer Science instructor in the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science. She was awarded her Masters Degree of Computer Science from The University of North Florida through research in approximation algorithms for computational biology. Prior to attending the University of North Florida, she earned her Bachelors Degree in Information Management and Information Systems from Donghua University in China. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Computer Science with research interests in genome sequencing and computational topology.
Ms. Jici Huang has four years of teaching experience at Montana State University and twelve years of on-going experience with programming languages and application development. She is passionate about bridging the gender gap in STEM, especially Computer Science, and is currently working on a project using NLP and TDA to analyze speech data.
Ms. Huang lives in Breinigsville, PA with her husband John and two sons, Gordon and Henry. She also enjoys teaching small children at her church.
