Jessica Scheuer, MS, CCC-SLP

Instructor of Speech-Language Pathology, Director of Clinical Education

Jessica Scheuer is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist and doctoral candidate at The Graduate Center, City University New York. She is a certified member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and has experience working with multicultural linguistically diverse populations. She has spent the bulk of her 15-year professional career working in educational settings with school-aged children with complex communication needs including autism spectrum disorder and feeding and swallowing issues.

Jessica’s research interests include: the cognitive processes of children with language impairments and who have been diagnosed with autism, as well as examining the effectiveness of executive function intervention to increase language ability. She has co-authored several articles on the cognitive skills of children with developmental language disorder.
