Elisabeth Felten, CPA, CGMA
Elisabeth Felten is an assistant professor in the Division of Business where she teaches undergraduate and MBA-level classes in accounting. Prior to joining DeSales, she taught in the business schools at the University of Iowa and University of Minnesota.
She earned her MBA from the University of Iowa Tippie College of Business and her BSBA in Accounting from American University. She holds CPA licenses in Maryland, New Jersey and Pennsylvania and is a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA). Elisabeth is a member of the Pennsylvania Society of Tax and Accounting Professionals, the NJ Society of CPAs, the American Institute of CPAs and NAFSA, the Association for International Educators.
Professor Felten teaches financial, managerial, governmental and not-for-profit accounting. Her research interests include budgetary transparency in social programs and the financial impact of servant leadership.
When not on campus, Elisabeth runs the Horsham Little League’s Challenger Division, the largest special needs adapted little league baseball program in Bucks and Montgomery County. She also coaches soccer in the Quakertown Soccer Club’s special needs division.
