Center Valley Forum

The  Salesian Center for Faith & Culture sponsors a campus-wide discussion series at DeSales University. The purpose of this series is to examine public issues and concerns, particularly as these impact American culture in the following areas:

  • ♦  Law & Society
  • ♦  Science & Healthcare
  • ♦  Communications & Media
  • ♦  Commerce &  Finance
  • ♦  Religion & Faith.  

The 90-minute format includes an introduction of the topic, brief presentations by a panel of experts selected for their particular expertise in the subject area, and ample discussion with members of the audience.  All members of the DSU community are invited, and the forums are also open to the public.

This annual lecture series is designed to offer the public a humanistic viewpoint on an issue of national prominence. The topic of discussion for this event will be The attractive beauty of holiness: the influence of St. Francis de Sales in the married  spirituality of Elisabeth Leseur. FR. THOMAS KEVIN KRAFT, OP, Friar of the Province of Saint Joseph USA, currently assigned to Saint Dominic's House, Nairobi, Kenya is our featured speaker. 

This event is FREE and open to the public. No tickets are required.
